I thought I'd read the worst fic in the world when I read the centaur porn involving Harry Potter. Then there was the bug porn. Then stoney321</lj> broke my brain even more with ET porn. Check out her bad!fic links. If you dare.

I pre-ordered 'The Graveyard Book'. It arrived, and sat on my ironing board all day while I looked sideways at it like it was the Holy freakin' Grail.

It seemed to glow at me, I shit you not. Fuck I love Gaiman. 'Stardust" is just my favourite book ever. I feel like he knows my deepest, darkest imaginings and translates them into a cohesive structure. Anyway, 'Graveyard Book'. You know when you have something precious that you want to savour? Yeah I'm savouring. It is just wonderful. I feel like I'm walking with Bod, I'm right there with him. Gaiman gives such sensory satisfaction, it's almost overwhelming. His prose is brilliant, he uses punctuation like it's a weapon and did I mention that I never want this book to end?
On a different note, my son is currently obsessed with the movie Labyrinth. Is it wrong I think David Bowie is hot as the Goblin King? The pants are a bit disturbing though!
